The Headquarters

In 2011 an old house built in the 1930s by Syrian Abdul Majid Ajami was restored to house the headquarters of The Khalid Shoman Foundation. Set within the Darat al Funun grounds, the space was equipped to display art works from The Khalid Shoman Private Collection and to offer working spaces for the recipients of the doctoral dissertation Fellowship for the study of modern and contemporary Arab art, and researchers studying Arab art.
